Swaying nicely in the late summer (technically Autumn) breeze, 'Quiet Room' is the aurally pleasing new single by fresh London band Multiples. Taking cues from its title, 'Quiet Room' was written during and inspired by the first few weeks of lockdown, paying particular attention to the unusual passing of time during this period. Sonically nodding to elements of 70s Spanish rock, Baroque pop and even elevator music, a seesawing synth line determines the groove of the track, as melodic bass darts around a simple drum beat that emphasises the offbeat.
